The Lowveld Spiderwatch is a non-profit-making environmental interest group based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. Working closely with The Spider Club of Southern Africa, we share the same goal: Our aim is to encourage an interest in arachnids and nature in general, striving to promote the study of spiders, scorpions, solifuges, whipspiders, harvestmen and pseudo scorpions, by all suitable means. We arrange field outings on a bi-weekly basis to various places in the Lowveld area, focusing on arachnids and the photography thereof. Anyone is welcome to join us on these outings.
